Smoke cannons with small touch screen affixed to one end, allowing user to select animations and take a selfie photo, then aim the cannons and shoot a smoke ring at a large LED screen overhead, where the selfie photo and selected animations appear for several minutes. Videos are socially sharable.
Honda needed an exciting and innovative engagement for their new auto show space.
The solution was a physical smoke cannon with a digital app and social sharing component.
Users interfaced with the smoke cannon via an app on a touch screen.
They selected three animations, based on their interests.
Users then took a selfie photo.
Users shot an actual smoke ring at a large LED in the space.
When the smoke ring reached the LED, users’ photos appeared on it, along with the animations they had selected and Honda branded messaging.
Users could repeat the experience with different photos and animations.
The photo and animations were socially sharable via an app, or via an email they received.
